How long have you played WoW:
I have started playing at the beginning of TBC and played ever since on and off, but it wasnt until around the end of Kara I got into the raiding scene, which is what actually matters imo.
How long have you played your class:
Ive had a DK since the beginning of WOTLK but didnt play it as a main until very recently. In the past Ive raided as a Mage, Hunter and Warlock in that order. Until Ulduar Ive was active in every raid tier except Sunwell.With Ulduar (my personal favorite) and the beginning of Hardmodes(Heroics) I got hooked pretty bad (
), and raided at a hc level up until the middle of HoF(HC), at which point I had to take a break because of IRL reasons.
How long have you played your current spec:
As Ive said I m not a DK veteran per se but still had it as an alt for a long time, and I have always enjoyed the Blood DK tanking mechanic. Actively mitigating since before it was cool is the motto here:) (elitistjerks™).
If asked, would you change your spec:
I enjoy frost DPS aswell. Although I prefer being blood as my main, I would gladly change if it is gonna help with the raiding progress.
Why did you choose the glyphs you use:
Glyph of Regenerative Magic: This is a very straightforward one as it allows more usages of a very handy ability over the course of bossfights.
Glyph of Pestilence: When there is a AOE dmg to be done or multiple adds to pick up (more of then than not there is), this one comes in handy.
Glyph of Loud Horn: Is kind of a placeholder right now, as it doesnt really offer that much but helps a little with Runic Corruption gaming as it gives a net 1 Runic Strike when you want one.
Glyph of Icebound Fortitude, Glyph of Death and Decay among others are noteworthy mentions, but they are also very situational, so expect me to play around with them rather regularly.
Why did you choose the talents you use:
Lvl 15 - Plague Leech, Roiling Blood: are the real choices here. Although theoretically PL seems better for pure single target fights, not only those are really rare, but it also takes up a GCD. So RB is much more convinient imho.
Lvl 30 - Lichborne, Purgatory, Anti-Magic Zone: All 3 solid options, with LB being a strong survival cd, Purgatory being a lifesaver (for those moment when your healers is having a brainfart, lets be honest they do happen:), AMZ is a useful raid cd when the situation calls for it.
Lvl 45 - Chilblains, Asphyxiate, Death's Advance: Again all 3 servers different purposes. CB for kiting, Asphyxiate for a 1 min cd stun, DA is more of a default choice here, because as always more mobility = convinience.
Lvl 60 - Death Pact, Death Siphon, Conversion: Conversion is generally not worth it as it drains from your RP which in turn means less rune generation and that means less Deathstrikes. Again DS would have been a great addition, if only it didnt cost a Death Rune which means it competes with Deathstrike. DP is my go to talent here, instant %50 heal on 2 mind CD, whats not to like.
Lvl 75 - Runic Empowerment, Runic Corruption, Blood Tap: Arguably this is the most important tier of all DK talents. RE sims well but the real downside is, for it to be effective you need to keep your runes on cd constantly, and imo being too spammy as a Tank is a mistake (its an entirely different story for dps tho). BT gives great control over your runes and can even result in some wipesavers from time to time. RC with it being buffed recently, offers the highest amount of Deathstrikes per fight, and if you are good with weaving in Runic Strikes in your rotation it comes ahead of BT in the end, even with the inferior control aspect (which is also arguable because it is possible to game RC to get Deathstrikes when you need them).
Lvl 90 - Remorseless Winter, Gorefiend's Grasp, Desecrated Ground: Yet another situational talent tier. Remorseless Winter is good with kiting + tanking stunnable adds. GG is good whenever you need displacing adds, ie Will of the Emperor HC. DG is more of a PVP talent although it can have its niche uses here and there.
Why did you reforge the way you did?,Why did you gem the way you did:
Atm I m going for a heavy EH (effective health) and mastery build, which has been the Blood DK go to setup for a long time, because of the powerful conversion rate of our mastery. In the future I m thinking of turning to an avoidance heavy build which would still favor parry over dodge heavily. The reason I m not going for this one right away is due to my low current ILVL which would left me with an uncomfortably low EH.
Why did you choose the professions you have:
Enchanting is always one of those proffessions where you cant go wrong, and in my case gives a nice amount of stam. Engineering gives a nice active avoidance cd via glove tinkering, plus the nice gadgets, which is always a welcome bonus.
If you're benched for a fight, is this okay with you:
If me being benched helps out the raid for a specific fight/situation, I should be benched.
Can you make all our raid days:
Yes, with exceptions when something extraordinary happens IRL, which can happen but will be rare for sure.
Any notable guilds you have been a part of:
Raided with several guilds in TBC none of them were notable, nor can I list them by name (has been a long time:d).I have raided with Aztecs in Al'Akir in WOTLK, The Dark Templars in Neptulon where I was an officer, and with Fallout in Tarrenmill (this one was for a short period until I took my break during HoF.

Do you talk during fights (say if you have a DoT/other mechanic we need to be aware of):
What use is a lingua franca if you are not gonna use it when you need to. Plus a tank who is afraid to talk, shouldnt tank anyway.
We often joke with each other, so the tone might sound harsh if we wipe, is this okay with you:
The tone 'should' get a bit harsh after a wipe.
Do you click your abilities, or do you have them keybound:
Clicker fo life!....Not really.
When are you usually online:
I m still in college, which I should have graduated some time ago:), and I m by no means an early bird,so I wont be online early in the morning.But I ll be around, except Friday evenings and Saturdays, when I ll be usually out.
